Due Diligence is a careful research and analysis in preparation for a Real Estate transaction, such as before buying Or selling Real property.



In real estate, there is a principle called “Caveat Emptor” which is a Latin for “Let the buyer beware”. Under this principle, the buyer could not recover damages from the seller from defects on the property that rendered the property unfit for ordinary purposes thats why its very important to conduct due diligence first before buying a real property.
